We are proud to have acted on behalf of Mid-Counties Co-operative as the Building Owner’s Surveyor in accordance with the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, in respect of one of their premises on Oxford High Street.

Our role involved administering the procedures of the Act in relation to works proposed by an adjoining owner for a single storey rear extension proposed to enclose upon a party fence wall, which warranted the negotiation and agreement of a Party Wall Award. The matter required particular care and efficiency due to the timing of the works, which coincided with the pending transfer of the property’s ownership.
