A carefully considered approach was adopted to navigate a boundary issue reported between the neighbouring owners. Having accepted that the provisions of The Party Wall etc. Act 1996 could not be applied retrospectively it was agreed for the works to be postponed so that a conditional agreement could be executed between the owners. From this stage, James accepted an appointment on behalf of the further adjoining owners bounding the site to ensure that the rights of both parties were effectively managed herein.
